Charlie Kirk: The Battle Ahead of South Carolina

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

On Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, a shot was heard around the world that took the life of not only the leader of discourse in America, but a true man of God. Videos of the gruesome murder of Charlie Kirk quickly flooded the internet, proverbially hitting onlookers from both sides of the political aisle, particularly the younger generation that Charlie had inspired the past decade.

When I saw the first reports coming across my feed, I dropped my phone as if it was on fire. I broke. I couldn’t believe it. Charlie Kirk was the first person I turned to in college when I was being targeted, doxxed, and isolated for being a Christian conservative in 2020. He inspired me during that time to fully profess my faith and beliefs in the face of evil and hatred as a young college student. In front of people from across America who wanted me kicked off of campus and who wanted me dead.

Charlie Kirk was one of the only political commentators who believed in Generation Z. He was the first to build an organization that went to college campuses to debate ideas, challenge beliefs, and most importantly, share the Gospel of Christ. Charlie treated the younger generation like real adults, always seeking to understand the battle they faced both financially and spiritually. He inspired men and women to value what matters in life: being a stalwart of faith, being a leader in our communities, getting married to a believer, and having and raising a family to do the same.

On September 10th, we witnessed pure evil and watched it on replay. As humans, we know right from wrong. Charlie Kirk was publicly executed in front of the world for being a Christian and publicly standing up for Christian values. The hatred that we saw flood the internet was that of nihilistic violence. Demon-influenced people celebrated Charlie’s assassination. Sick individuals used it to call for gun control. Charlie was murdered thousands of times by words of those that hate God. It’s too much to bear.

We are in a battle for the souls, hearts, and minds of the world. Ephesians 6:12 states, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

This is a clear wake up call for every generation. We must lead a moral life that is not naive. It is not enough to just vote. It’s not enough to just go to church. We are called to grow the Kingdom of God in every aspect of life. That means in our own homes, circles, and communities. That means in our careers. That means in politics. We are called to speak truth in the face of evil, no matter what form that evil manifests.

We are fighting the same war in South Carolina. It is a battle between truth and evil. Since I graduated from college three years ago, I answered the call from God to dedicate my life to exposing corruption in our local communities and within our state. I co-founded Palmetto State Watch, the Foundation, and eventually hosted a podcast. Just like in college, it came with consequences. I lost relationships with close friends, family members, and colleagues. It showed me that some people do not care about the truth, but preferred ignorance and comfortability. Being aware of all of this insanity just empowered me more.

God replaced the loss of close individuals tenfold. He blessed me with fellow warriors of truth who became my family, my confidants. He rallied volunteers for PSW to help expose corruption in their communities. He raised up similar organizations, run by likeminded individuals like the United Patriots Alliance, SC Safe Elections, Conservatruth, and so many others. He has called others to run for office, going to the heart of the issue in order to be the change. It is imperative we support these organizations and political campaigns of God fearing men and women.

If you want to change the current trajectory of our nation, you have to start at the root problem: in your home, your community, and then your state.

We are starting to see South Carolinians wake up and begin to push back on the local and state level. Certain elected officials, professors, business owners, and employees have taken to social media to either dismiss Charlie’s assassination or encourage more murders. Here are just couple:

At least three Clemson University professors have dismissed/celebrated/encouraged Charlie Kirk’s murder. For the first 2 days, Clemson refused to make a statement, then refused to act, and now have chosen to to merely SUSPEND just one employee as of September 13th, 2025. Take a look at the professors that Clemson has chosen to protect, instead of its students:

Emily Taylor, a Professor of English & Director of Women’s & Gender Studies at Presbyterian College, wrote an article blaming Charlie Kirk for his own death as a byproduct of “violent, white American masculinity” and “while male insecurity.”

SC Democrat Representative John Richard King of District 49 from York County (and a funeral director) justifies Charlie Kirk’s death saying Kirk “chose his weapon hatred” & why Kirk should not be grieved by others. He made several posts that are still up on Facebook and he has since doubled down on his posts:

If you have ever listened to Charlie Kirk, you will know how his views were very moderate. That’s the terrifying part. The left has demonized and celebrated the death of a man who was not even close to “radical,” but was bare bones and even milk toast in some of his views.

Charlie Kirk was the nice version of what the left espouses to hate.

It has been fascinating to see the responses of those who have been critical of Charlie Kirk in the past. Nick Fuentes, a young 26-year-old that has been deplatformed from most social media, is not allowed to have a bank account, and was nearly assassinated last year, also has a huge following mainly from the younger generation, particularly young men. In his only stream after Charlie’s murder, he poetically summarized the spiritual battle we are under and gave a call for peace with action. You can watch it HERE.

Allie Beth Stuckey echoed my thoughts exactly when she stated the following about Charlie’s murder: “May we all, when we die, make the demons rejoice. may we all be so courageous, so bold, so effective, so faithful, so obedient to the Lord, so relentless in the pursuit of His glory that when we die all of God’s enemies cheer. May they lament every breath we take, may they be enraged by every morning that our feet hit the floor, may they wince at every word we say.”

We must continue stronger and bolder than ever, in a peaceful manner. Our enemies (through Satan) take what we love away from us to pull us from God and make us like them. We must love those who persecute us, while standing firm. That means never budging on our morality. It is our duty to create a better society in order to grow the Kingdom for those that come after us.

Pick up a Bible. Get right with God. Get in the gym. Get involved in politics. Get involved in a campaign. Get involved for the people that can’t anymore.

As Charlie Kirk once stated, “Having a family will change your life in the best ways, so get married and have kids. You won’t regret it.” He viewed marriage and parenthood as not only “good and Godly” but also “a simple act of defiance against the oligarchs and the tyrants who would rather you die bitter, alone, and with nothing but robots by your side as you enter eternity.”

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

John 15:18-19

  1. The rotten rhetoric from the left wing nuts just keeps coming. How elated they were when they mistakenly thought Charlie Kirk’s assassin was a Republican. Kirk was described as a right wing zealot, yet, in truth, Charlie was a God-fearing American patriot.
The Marxist left will be energized by Charlie’s murder. Expect the violence to increase. Each one of these crazies wants their 15 minutes of shame.
Be aware, be prepared. You have the right to stand your ground and protect yourself with your weapon of choice. Don’t let yourself become a victim.
